In this neighborhood, we’re figuring out what life looks like now that the kids are spreading their wings. It’s about rediscovery—finding new love languages and balancing the role of being a good mom while also exploring who I am beyond motherhood. But it’s also about facing the impact this transition can have on our relationships with our spouses. Without the constant demands of parenting, it’s easy to become too reliant on each other or even trauma-bonded out of fear and uncertainty.

This is a time to rediscover each other, to date again without the weight of finding a babysitter, and to reignite that spark that might have dimmed over the years. We’ll talk about the joys and challenges, the differences in raising girls and boys, the lessons learned, and even the things we wish we could do over.
